How I Got the Shot: Along the Tamiami Trail (Highway 41), there is a nature trail that leads to a lookout tower. The tower platform stands about 20 feet above ground, overlooking a grassland wet prairie. At certain times of the year, the prairie fills with water and consequently, lots of birds. From the tower, the expansive view is amazingly beautiful, especially in the morning when their is a misty fog laying over the grasses. This is when I like to find 'birdscape' images.
